VIP remix of my earlier release, Moe Moe Kyunstep (https://chibitech.bandcamp.com/album/moe-moe-kyunstep), this time in drum & bass flavor.

Composed in Famitracker v0.4.2 (Nintendo NES, 2A03 + VRC6).

This remix was originally slated for my recent LP album, MoeNES vol.1 (https://chibitech.bandcamp.com/album/moenes-vol-1-the-idol-composers-groove), but due to severe time constraints this had to be left out of the album and pushed back until now.

Some technical notes:
・ Compiled NSF is ~217KB. This song is horrendously unoptimized. :(
・ Entire song consists of two subsongs, due to an insufficient amount of total patterns needed to fit the entire thing within one subsong (even after automatic duplicate pattern removal).
・ Song's replay timer runs @ ~400Hz, which is largely responsible for the modulation effects.
・ Song DOES play on a powerpak's NSF player at full speed (though fast-forwarding has inconsistencies and doesn't go much faster). Yes, the song is legit NES + VRC6 capable. It would probably be a nightmare for NES programmers to use as in-game music though, lol.
・ VRC6's sawtooth channel is not used at all. This is not due to technical limitations or anything, I just didn't bother to use it I guess. :how2melody:
・ DPCM only uses a kickdrum & snare (total <1KB), as well as $4011 writes for rudimentary triangle channel volume control. No melodic samples are used.

As you probably know, I'm a big fan of an arcade game for kids called PriPara. I arranged the (unbelievably addicting) outfit change BGM in famicom style. I originally did this in less than 30 minutes before my live set @ PICO JAM 2018 in kichijoji. Then I realized how much I screwed up on the notes and fixed it thereafter.

One of my more classic NES tunes, made a month before I moved out of the United States to start a new life in Japan (Valentines Day of 2009, in fact).
If you've seen my live sets that I've played over the years, this is the little ditty I usually end them with. Yes, even after the growlfest stuff, lol.

Also, if you were wondering what that extra little NSF file that's included in my recent release "Crema Binaria" is, well... this is it.

I did treat this song as my "special" personal creation, and never really released this song officially outside of compilations lost to the sands of time.
I guess I should remedy that now. 

Dedicated to Andrew (back then, and still now)... I'm forever grateful for his kindness and patience with me after all these years.

01. Introducing You to the Game

This one was pretty fun to make, since the instruments are from one of my favorite games, Super Mario World. As many of the tracks from the game, this one has the main motif as well, but I added some new stuff to it. Honestly I think it would fit very well in an ice level. Hope you enjoy!

This one is pretty old, it's the first song I made for the album, when I started testing some concepts. It unfortunately uses the DKC soundfont, I might remake it for the Bandcamp relea- OOPS! I DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING, OK? Hehehe

03. Under the Woods

Yeah, It's an Undertale-like track (well, it's supposed to be lol)
This one was really fun to make, and try to compose the track thinking how Toby would make it was really cool.  It's supposed to play when you fight a robot in panic (not Mettaton haha). I was gonna create an OC for this but I got tired lol

so here's something i've been working on for a while
i dunno if it sounds anything like it'd be in Smash, but
i really hope some character like Hatty might get to be a character in smash, or even a mii swordfighter outfit, since castle crashers exists

also, the thumbnail is one of those shitty smash bros OST youtube thumbnail recreatons by me, that i couldn't get on there fully because it's a youtube thumbnail, and i didn't make a soundcloud thumbnail, and i'll be damned if i'm gonna recreate it again lol
