A DJ is the spiritual and physical platform between melody and audience. Vibes resonate within him, producing emotions which he subtly carries out to the room, whilst young masses react  through frantic movements  on the dance floor.

For the past 18 years, France’s DJ Sweetbo has become one of the most influential Djay in the Costarican electronic music scene, delighting crowds with his remarkable sessions, ranging from heterogeneous sounds such as Chicago, Detroit, New York, Paris, London to Rio de Janeiro’s, merging House music  with Techno in an ethereal and upbeat way.

Sweebo is also responsible for pioneering in the Lounge field for V.I.P audiences, bringing Chill Out, Downtempo,Trip Hop, NuJazz and Brasil fusions into people’s consciousness;displaying electronic music  from  a  relaxed  and  quiet angle.

Mainly because of his creativity and insight, Sweetbo has spread out his groove through Radio 911, a stage for musical excellence with shows that bring Costa Rica’s airwaves back to life. After spending 15 years working as producer and radio show host, he broke new ground by coming up with new concepts for electronic music shows, such as Frecuencia Urbana (Monday through Friday, lunch time 12 to 1pm), flavoured by Lounge, Chill Out and Deep House, appropriately selected for lunch break; and Destino Groove (Fridays, 21h00 to midnight), where talented local and international DJs run live sessions under their own guidelines.

Throughout his career, he has enjoyed residencies at the finest clubs and lounge rooms; to name a few, Regina 51, Café Loft, Ill Giardini, Beta, Qbico, Lubnan and Vertigo,Stereo sushi,Antik and Intercontinental hotel playing among with great musicians. He has also been in charge of organizing theme parties, actually Spreading groove with a famous night call House4real.
Also shared turntables with some distinguished members of the electronic music scene, including the likes of Chuck Love, Oscart P, Roger Sanchez, J Jay, Sandy Rivera, Dr. Kucho,Lisa Shaw,Bob Sinclar, Lee Jones,Josh Wink,Jay West,Nickodemus, John Aquaviva, ReelSoull, Rich Medina, Dimitri From Paris and Paul Oakenfold, amongst others,and also play in House festivals like Mi Casa Es Su Casa Mexico, Holi One Costa Rica among others.

His undeniable talent has flown across borders to other nations such as France,FWI St Martin,Check Republik,Belgica,Switzerland, England,Mexico,Honduras,El Salvador, Guatemala  and Panama. All of them have had the opportunity to enjoy his trademark sessions, and by doing so, he has made a high reputation.
