Now lot of people don’t like Mondays and we think that’s fair enough; going back to work feeling a decade older after a heavy weekend spent making memories with friends can be a chore for even for the most optimistic of us as we trudge back in to the daily grind.  Luckily, help is at hand as we've secured Dominica's unreleased summer anthem 'Gotta Let You Go'.

Having caused quite a stir in clubs and festivals across the globe throughout warmer months, we had feared that the track wasn't going to get an official release despite the likes of Jackmaster and Skream championing the track in their sets.

Thus we were delighted to hear that it would finally be arriving via Altra Moda Music this November and quickly set about securing it for premiere. Rock solid grooves, pumping synths and rolling snares underpin catchy, redolent vocals for a sunshine soaked floor filler guaranteed to ward off those winter blues.

One of our most beloved members of the Dirtybird Family, Shiba San debuted on the label nearly three years ago with “Okay”, and it still remains one of our biggest tracks ever. Since then he’s been a regular at our Dirtybird events around the country, and has made a steady appearance on the label with his penchant for producing music that not only makes you move your feet but also hard to get out of your head.

Shiba sent us “Up and Down” over the Summer, and it quickly became a go-to track for many sets on the Summer circuit, with fans rushing the stage and writing in to us trying to find out what it was. Originally set to come out on its own, Shiba then sent us “You Know What?”, and we knew we couldn’t turn away its thick bassline and unique synth melody.

Two Hot Creations titans will team up with a renowned singer-songwriter next month, as Lee Foss, Detlef and Anabel Englund collaborate on the two-track Thunder & Lightning. This latest two-tracker has a more familiar deep house blueprint. “I found that the experimentation I played with on my previous two releases has given me the confidence to introduce more creative flare or create musical moments within this style” says Anja.

‘Turning My Head’ is built on a low-slung tribal rhythm. There is a deep, growling bass that provides a contrast with the classic spoken vocal and dancing flute tones. “I wanted to create a slow burning progression in the track that evokes the humid thumping heartbeat of late-night energy charged dark rooms which I have missed so much these past 9 months” adds Anja.

‘Strange Case’ is a jacked-up deep house track with differently instrumented phases that use sounds that stand out like the enchanted plucked strings or the harmonic steel drum reverberations.
