‘I Feel Love’ by Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte, with lyrics by Donna Summer, first appeared on Summer's 1977 album 'I Remember Yesterday', widely credited as 'one of the most influential records ever made'. Following in the wake of such high esteem is no mean feet, however Cr2 founder Mark Brown AKA MYNC alongside classic 90’s House duo Rhythm Masters created an edit in 1998 which
conquered the beach bars and clubs of Ibiza throughout the 2010 season. Since then, the edit has remained in the Cr2 vaults awaiting a refreshed version for the changing face of electronic music in 2017 and beyond…

Finally the moment came, alongside the Past, Present & Future series which has seen some of the most exciting producers reinvigorate Cr2 classics, it was a clear that this particular edit was worth an over-haul. Handpicked for their notable underground style, Glasgow due illyus & Barrientos expertly dress the original with their signature club-ready style and transform it into a big, floor-filling anthem.

Left to his own devices as his studio partner Terry Farley left to watch a Chelsea game, Pete Heller was playing around with his Akai sampler when he produced what is arguably one of the most recognisable pieces of dance music of the 1990’s. Now this enduring classic has been remixed by Urbana Records boss and Spanish powerhouse producer David Penn. Modernised for 2019 dancefloors, Penn brings his signature rolling bassline and infectious groove to this club anthem, once again proving the timelessness of ‘Big Love’.
