'F For You' (Eats Everything Remix)

Disclosure’s ‘F For You’ ft Mary J Blige is set to get an Eats Everything make-over with a remix dropping on PMR this month. The record, belonging to Disclosure's Grammy nominated album ‘Settle’, has dominated the dance charts of late and Eats serves it a slice of added groove, making for a typically inviting dance floor track. 

Both acts have recently supported one another on recent dates, with Disclosure joining Eats Everything as a special guest at his XOYO residency and in return, Eats made a special appearance at Disclosure’s Alexandra Palace gig last weekend. Having a clear fondness for each other’s work, it was only a matter of time before a remix came to fruition.  Stripped back and built around his trademark punchy house template, Eats gives the original an altogether new dimension that is sure to make waves on both the radio and in the clubs.

Eats Everything kicked off 2014 with a brand new residency series at XOYO, London, with each date comfortably selling out. Alongside pioneering the resurgence of the residency to London’s nightlife, he’s been working his way around Europe too, touring some of the very best venues on the European club circuit.

The Disclosure remix is only the tip of the iceberg when when it comes to what Eats has lined up for the rest of the year. Rounding up the last few weeks of his XOYO residency, Eats will be releasing the ‘Hello Mr. Jello' EP alongside Justin Martin on Dirtybird Records and has a Hot Natured remix forecast, as well as a very exciting mix compilation in the pipeline.

Bristol-based producer REKTCHORDZ follows up his widely supported “Meant To Be” EP release, teaming-up once again with Melbourne vocalist SEAN DECLASE on their very fresh new tune “Love For Good”.
 
Previously collaborating on “Higher” late last year, which copped spins and support from legends across the spectrum of house music such as SECOND CITY, AMINE EDGE & DANCE, LAIDBACK LUKE, PEKING DUK, WHAT SO NOT, ANNA LUNOE, THE ASTON SHUFFLE, ZEDS DEAD, JAKWOB, HEAVYFEET and MARTIN IKIN – the chemistry was too good to not take further, and boy are we sure glad they did!
 
Combining Declase’s soulful vocal hooks and energy with some bass-driven groove, combining a future-driven sound with throwback percussive elements and some feet-shuffling steez, the original cut is sure to be sparking some vibe off the blocks.

Great Stuff Grooves returns to bring some electronic warmth into your winter, with a dozen hot tracks from producers across the world, both established and upcoming.

David Penn kicks off with a fusion of filtered fun and chunky techno intent on I get High. From there, Spanish trio David Amo, Julio Navas &amp; Marc Maya whip up a sizeable tribal groove on La Policia, passing the baton on to Filthy Rich and his nu skool speed garage romp Rave In A Cave. Ridney keeps it on a UK tip with the euphoric pianos and arpeggios of 13:37, before Boris&#8217; druggy Funky Bells shows that this compilation offers up deeper shades of techno too.

Need more funk? Mike Newman &amp; Hoxton Whores&#8217; Every Sound has it by the bucketload, as does Tom Wax&#8217;s rolling, refreshingly different acid-bassed Let&#8217;s Groove On. Roy Rosenfeld&#8217;s Knock Knock is just bugged-out as hell, resplendent of quirky grooves and messed-up vocals, leading us towards the measured big room pumping of Paul Strive&#8217;s The Chance. Raul Mezcolanza&#8217;s A Reality treads a similarly bubbly path, before Townston &amp; Delgado take a more playful approach with the deft stabs of Groovesolution. It&#8217;s left to Alec Chizhik &amp; Markus Mehta to give the compilation a more demure finale, with the subtle machinations of Monolith.

As ever, it&#8217;s a no-nonsense selection that&#8217;s aimed squarely at the dancefloor. It&#8217;s the sound of winter; only a little hotter&#8230;
