BIO - 
After an initial interest in Hip-Hop/Turntablism culture as a teenager, Dschen soon
became attracted by the early Atmospheric & Liquid Drum'n'Bass sound, which led to his first gigs and experiences as a club DJ. This was until around 2007. More than 15 years later the focus of his DJ sets today lies mainly on hypnotic, deep or driving Techno and organic halftime grooves, sometimes merging both styles in the same set through proper track selection and mixing techniques. Current DJ sets are regularly published in his own "Temporary Escape Podcast“ on SoundCloud and YouTube. 

In addition to his activity as a DJ, Dschen has delved deep into the world of modular synthesizers in recent years, following a long phase of experimenting with different production and composition methods. Now his tracks are created as intuitively as possible, often by recording live jams in the studio to capture a special sound aesthetic and authenticity. His debut album “One Armed Statue“ (see below) came out in early 2023 on the Mexican label,  https://soundcloud.com/secuencias_temporales, and embodies this recent artistic development. Focusing on deep, organic Downtempo Techno, halftime tracks and Ambient on the mentioned LP, his upcoming releases will also delve into faster and more driving Techno territory. Stay tuned!

Sonido crudo, meditabundo, percusión ritual y bajo profundo mezclados con la conmovedora voz de Lucía en un ritmo hipnótico en donde la consola, las reverberaciones y los ecos son los instrumentos para crear en la tradición mas purista del dub. 

Nicola Cruz, lider del movimiento de 'Andes step' que se toma el mundon desde Ecuador, y Mitú, proyecto de tecno selvático liderado por Julian Salazar y el percusionista palenquero Lamparita, se unen al proyecto con dos versiones únicas de 'Pedacito se esperanza'.

'Pedacito de esperanza' is the first single of Diego Gómez's new project Cerrero. Featuring legendary Colombian singer Lucía Pulido with an striking performance, this raw explororation of ritual percussión, poetic haiku style lyrics, processed flutes and heavy bass, mixed in the purest dub tradition, creates an hipnotic groove that  reveals a new side of future roots sound.

Nicola Cruz, leader of the ecuatorian 'Andes step' movement and Mitú, colombian jungle techno project led by Julian Salazar and Palenquero percussionist Lamparita, provide two incredible and unique remixes for their first appearance in a Llorona Records project.

“In this mix I want to share the music that I’m playing lately, mostly club-oriented, with 
high doses of BPMs, a lot of percussion, a bit of footwork and always keeping the breaks in the main plane. Around the end, some of my favorites happy hardcore tunes.

Whipnotiq is a sorceress of unique sounds spanning the electronic music spectrum. Sharpening her craft at influential underground parties in LA and passionately building her record collection over the past seven years, Miranda Calzada has shared the bill with techno elite such as Function, Rrose, Cio D'Or, Lucy, Voices from the Lake, Daniel Bell, Carlos Souffront, and Ø [Phase], to name a few. She currently curates the Neptunian Influence podcast, an electro-focused mix series, which features artists such as 214, James Shinra, ADAB, Kiernan Laveaux and Sassmouth. In 2017 she participated in the second installation of the Walking & Falling DJ mentorship program in Chicago, where she also performed alongside the inimitable Eris Drew.
