“Sober” is the story of how far a man can fall and how far he can climb back. This song comes from a place where addiction had taken everything from me, even the parts of myself I never thought I’d lose. I was choosing drugs and alcohol over my responsibilities, over my purpose, and even over my own children. I reached the point where my body gave up, where one overdose almost rewired my heart and soul for good.

But this track isn’t just about the darkness. It’s about the moment the light finally breaks through. It’s about getting sober, facing every tragedy and every painful truth head-on, and refusing to let addiction be the end of my story. It’s about earning back my children, rebuilding my life piece by piece, and rising into the man I was meant to be.

“Sober” is more than a song. It’s a confession, a breakthrough, and a promise to anyone fighting their own demons that redemption is real and recovery is possible. This is my journey from losing everything to gaining it all back.

This is the realest thing I have ever written and recorded. I am sharing some of the struggles I go through mentally and emotionally.  I used to be in a very dark place in life and found hope in music. Music saved my life and I want that to come through in every song I write. I hope you enjoy. I love you.
