We continue our monthly mix series "Movements," with Volume XVI brought to you by Klassified label managers RAMMÖ. If not yet on your horizon, we recommend digging in. Klassified Record's debut offering “The Feathers’ Eye, Vol. 1”, ranks as the strongest opening statement we heard in 2018. The compilation brings together respected artists such as Jon Charnis, Jonas Saalbach, Rancido, and KMLN, and weaves their offerings into a beautifully curated journey alongside productions from promising new comers such as Yarni, Mâhfoud and Lunar Plane’s standout track ‘Feist’.  release is a testament to Rammö’s and more broadly Klassified's curatorial capacity and speaks volumes of their managerial skills in being able to bring twenty plus artists of varying pedigrees together for their label’s opening gambit.  It is an exceptional listen and sets high expectations for Klassified in 2019. 

The mix Rammö have supplied here stands for similar praise. Brimming with unreleased music we should be expecting from Klassified this coming year, the mix starts from a decidedly sunny place before bloating into punchier house terrain.  From here it eases into an ethereal plane only to erupt into an epic finale. Mixed delicately throughout, the journey reaffirms what we had hoped, their curatorial skills will be keep us listening for years to come.

Movements Vol. XVI: Rammö

The East Berlin native San Miguel started his electronic music career in early ages. Infected by the underground sounds of that legendary era, the young and enthusiastic dj and producer quickly developed his skills to a professional level and established his first successful vinyl record label „Phonothek Records“ a few years later. As a pronounced philanthropist and nature lover he wanted to find a way to share his passions in a more organic atmosphere and founded „Einfach Liebe“ as a community of different artists and a pool for a variety of events such as Open Airs, Workshops and healing arts.

San Miguel’s musical signature is defined by his various interests and influences of his travels through time and space which manifests itself into a soundscape of hypnotic spheres and deep driven basses. Often combined with folkloric elements and a range of organic instruments, his sound weaves unique tales that carries the audience gently and straight into an ecstatic dance experience. He is a master for clashing the styles and shows a deep instinct for timing and suspense as he draws a bow throughout his mixes that will move any dance-floor that thrives on powerful global beats and psychedelic rhythms. That special composition led him release his own productions on labels such as Lump Records, Underyourskin Records, Pipe & Pochet, LNDKHN, Cosmic Awakenings, Serafin Audio Imprint and Souq Records.

Together with LaniAkea, he launched in 2018 his second electronic music label „MŎNɅDɅ“ based by the philosophical monad as expression of the pure eternal essence which exists in every living being. The label represents a playground for handpicked and visionary electronic sounds that are offering vibrational healing through love and passion. As „Mônada Project“ the two free spirits San Miguel & LaniAkea are leading a PA- rental, hosting sound- healing journeys, gatherings, festivals and co-create together with the global tribe. All in the mission of LOVE. ♥
