Needing very little introduction, our next guest is one of the most inspiring and talented artists in Naarm - and one of our close friends - Bex (@becarmstrongmusic). 

An artist in the truest sense of the word, Bex is a DJ, producer and visual artist. She is the founder of the online platform Space Cast (@spacecast-melbourne) - a project which facilities an art and music exchange that supports local artists financially through the sale of print. She's also the co-founder of the Spincycle parties alongside Robbie (@terrytec), and Send/Return with Hannah D (@hld) which showcases two djs playing back-to-back, all night long.

We're so grateful to put out this mix, which sees Bec channel psychedelic moods while maintaining a tough, tekky vibe which is synonymous with her sound.

Super Venus is a French/German deejay and graphic designer living in Berlin and floating in the musical field of downtempo, breakbeats, spacy techno and off-centered progressive house. She will play on Tuesday night 30th of April at the 7 Years Basic Moves party in Funke Ghent but will pass by before to Kiosk radio to bring a special set dedicated to a sound very close to Super Venus heart: dub music. In fact, everyone likes Ezio a lot - even Donato Dozzy, who chose to feature Ezio & his partner Hamish's (together they are Neotex) tune "Iridescence" within his closing set at Labyrinth Festival in 2023. Hallowed turf indeed. So, we definitely take great pleasure in featuring his first submission to the Doof Spawn.
