This track was officially made during my ICS group session on 1-25-25, the 20 Song & Remix game. My challenge was to remix The Weeknd's Gasoline using the stems I created in my "soundalike game." It highlights the lesson I took from the original song and what I relate to most. It was also my favorite from the Dawn FM album. 

The story behind this track follows someone at their breaking point of nihilism and escapism. This character, The Weeknd, believes that there is nothing after, so then it's all meaningless, being a good person, trying to better, even his own body. The EP is based on this character being wrong. The next song is "The Crossing" between life & death, where the entities are excited to torment this character for living this way. 

Be good, people! Consider that what you do to others is experienced by you tenfold at death. The after looks like nothing because it can't be perceived through our mediums, but it is there. Whether you believe it or not, never let it stop you from being good or slip into destructive nihilism. You will find nothing but peace in life and death. This EP was made to serve as a warning and a call to stay good. Bad people may live seemingly great and enriching lives, but The Crossing always comes
