Here is my remix of Lamb's - Butterfly Effect for the remix competition that they have put on.  Gone with an Old Skool Killa breaks feel to it with a little dubsteppy twist and a touch of glitch work so for any breaks fans out there hopefully you'll enjoy!

Well, by the time I'd found about this remix comp it was nearly over!  Started this little remix a coupla days ago.  Was going for a breaks mix to start with but I whilst experimenting I slowed Tessa's vox down a bit and they sounded bloody good - so, dropped the BPM and went for a dubsteppy style beat that floats in and out.

More and ambient mix really (and to be perfectly honest, I don't expect it to get onto an EP of a Drum N Bass track, lol :) but I did enjoy putting it together!

Thanks to Bustrexx & Subsphere for putting the remix comp out and hope you all enjoy this little chilled out piece of dubsteppy goodness :)

PS.  Make sure you listen to this with some decent Bass speakers, trust me :)

So I was putting together a little mix of tunes and had Mr. Scruff's excellent Jazz Potato as the start of the mix.  Unfortunately, the lounge jazz feel that it had didn't really fit too well with the rest of my mix so I used the main sample from the track and put together my own little remix.

Once again, done using Reaper & NI's Massive.

Samuel Yirga - My Head (cycloscope remix)

Maaan, have I had fun with this remix :)  The original track (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILxORt-uCjA) is simply awesome so when given the opportunity to remix the track I jumped at the chance.  

I've tried to keep the spacious and epic feel of the original track but have also injected a little bit of groove and some dubstep style awesomeness to the track.  I've given it a few sinister style undertones that I hope I have managed to balance out reasonably well with some piano and some of the more orchestral style and choir samples that were included in the original track.  Crank up the speakers, roll up the bass and enjoy :)

Halfway through the ideas stage of this remix, my music PC died so I managed to cobble this one together from versions of plugins I owned that I could use on my Mac - so, all that was used in this was the original samples, Reaper, NI's Massive, T-Racks & Waves...  Oh, and a lot of straight sample editing!!

So, here's my latest little creation :)  I've been working with the Arma II (DayZ) Scripting Engine and am working to build up my skills so I can hopefully start creating a little mini-series.

In the meantime, as I hone my skills, I'm going to be producing a number of little DayZ ShortZ : A set of short movies that will be created in my quest to become better at DayZ Machinima creation!

The first little snippet is a short epic based around 2 characters and is hopefully a good starting point!  This is the musical score that was created specifically for the video.
