Fight Like A Robot

Hi, I'm Tex. This started out as a project for school and is now the home for all the lofi electronic tracks I record. I was a punk rock musician for like 25 years and over the past decade or so I've been getting into retro synth and ambient sounds and learning to record them.

I record using mostly the standard VST's in Logic Pro X, but I also will throw in analog sounds from my Arturia Microbrute and various Korg Volcas.  Some of the beats on these tracks were generated in the DM1 drum machine app and then looped in Logic.

I also play bass, guitar, and drums and I'll occasionally throw in live guitars and bass, as well as cajón, tamborines, shakers, etc.

I don't want to do this professionally, it's more of an expensive hobby, kinda like sailing or cocaine. I'm down to collaborate and my DM's are open.

I also really like breakfast. As meals go, it really is the MVP.
