This mix represents a sampling of the incredible diversity of rhythms and styles of Latin American music, past and present.  The African diaspora has a heavy influence in Colombia, Peru and Brazil and beyond--these deep rhythms underpin the traditions of Afro-Peruvian singer Susana Baca and Cape Verdean legend Cesaria Evora as well as the Brazilian vocal group Barbatuques (remixed by Yemanjo, Ohxala and Marcelo Berges respectively).  Elsewhere the sounds of Andean flutes, guitars and charangos give organic flavor to the modern sounds of producers like Rodrigo Gallardo and Mente Organica.  Throughout, we feel the spirit of past masters and a respect for the deep history of these idioms as these producers bring them onto the dance floors of the future using today's audio wizardry.

The second remix collection inspired by Liquid Bloom and PERE’s co-authored album, ‘Afar,’ transports us to the entrancing inner worlds of ambient music producer Tylepathy. A soulful reimagining of the original album’s naturalistic tones and progressive electronica energy, ‘Afar (Tylepathy Remixes)’ dissolves the boundaries between moments to offer its listeners a seamless respite from the heated landscapes of the outer world.

Where once the fire of the dance floor burned steadily through ‘Afar’s’ electro-acoustic currents, this journey to the interior cools the flames into a voyage through deconstructed sounds, primordial influences, and deeply restful beats. Finally I've found some time and inspiration again to create another Ecstatic Dance mix @ home, which in this case is a collection of favorite tunes I've been playing out over the last few months of this past year. Here is a collection of ambient music and downtempo grooves. Compiled by myself, over the course of the week.

I have been working night shift on the farm 7pm to 7am. 
This mix has had its influences from the stars above. 
Celebrating this galactic activation 10 day period in the mayan calander. this sound offering being a gift to bring through at this time. being alone for the most of this 2 week period, in this time i have made this attempt to learn more about the stars, there constellations,  to develope in lucid dreaming , and to the learning about these music softwares and mixing, flow and music harmonics. 

 I made this mix for the intention that someone make art to it, or to have an entheogenic journey. being present with the sounds in its entirety. 

it has been a pleasure doing a mix in my favourite genre of organic ambient electronica. there is a few classic favourites mixed in here, with artists like ishq and sinepearl, yet some new discoveries aswell. Yet it is music that has carried me from dusk till dawn. so enjoy these long trance inducing soundscapes. they will take you far!
