Music is undoubtedly the universal language of the world and personifies everything that our imagination could only dream about creating.

My name is DeVante Purnell. I am a young producer and DJ that goes by the name of ‘Cognicide.’ 

Cognicide is more of a concept rather than a stage name, that describes the feelings and emotions that I wish to provide through my music.

Art has always been the one constant in my life, bringing me joy with every encounter. Music has always been my backbone, as it is with many people, providing a certain wholeness and emotion that is indescribable. 

Music has always provided me with an abundance of peace and rejoice, which prompted me to pick up a DJ deck and begin producing, so that I may someday evoke these same feelings for someone else.

    WoodLake is an up and coming ElectroHouse DJ. 

Hailing from the township of Lakewood, NJ, his name is indicative of the twisted nature of his music and DJing style. After teaching himself the basics, WoodLake refined his skills at the world-renowned New York-based Dubspot, the premier music production and DJ school. Once he learned the ins and outs of Electronic Dance music, the cutting-edge DJ immediately started booking gigs, playing alongside fellow rising artists and DJ veterans. 

WoodLake knows the true definition of filthy beats and takes listeners on a contorted journey of danceable grooves and heavy bass lines. With sounds that melt faces and get the dance floor rumbling, WoodLake's seamless yet electrifying mixing keeps bodies moving and heads bobbing.
