"Invisible sculptures I" is the first piece in a series of compositions built exclusively on recordings of electromagnetic fields. Electromagnetic fields are produced by any electronic device such as lamps, laptops, traffic lights and so on. As a type of architecture that surrounds us we walk past these sounds daily but are unaware of them. These short pieces, while always utilizing the possibilities as well as confronting the impossibilities of these sound's musical nature, aim to make the unnoticed audible and thus, hopefully, increase awareness for our surroundings.
