Astrix is a unique phenomenon in the trance world, a leading DJ & producer, who came from the underground psychedelic scene, have been performing in the biggest festivals and venues, reached # 18 on the DJ Mag poll, and yet, chose to always stay true to the underground trance movement.

Avi Shmailov has been dividing his life is for more than a decade already between constant studio work and non-stop touring around the globe. Astrix broke into global consciousness in 2002 with his debut album ‘Eye to Eye’, defining him as a trance music anthems producer. In 2004, he released his second album ‘Artcore’, igniting fire all over the global trance scene and is considered by many as the perfecttrance album. The album’s effect was followed in 2005 by the impressive entry to the world's top 100 DJs list of the famous Dj Magazine, where he took the respectful climb to the 18th position in 2007. His third album ‘Red Means Distortion’ was released in 2010 and since then he continues to release many tracks on various compilations and digital EP’s to delighted fans, who according to his Facebook page are over 900,000 and going on strong

Croatian dj Nick Milly was introduced to music at an early age whilst attending music school for an academic degree. He discovered music by learning and playing most instruments including Guitar, Flute and Drums. In his teens he got together with his friends to play guitar in various DEMO bands influenced by Sex Pistols, Ramones, Sisters Of Mercy, Cure, Depeche Mode, New Order, Kraftwerk etc.
In his quest to find the newest trends in music he discovered techno and trance party at club „Aquarius“ in 1993. Dj Kiki and dj Frajman performance inspired him to try electronic music himself. 
With the first vinyl bought in 1994 he began his electronic music collection and organised a series of private techno parties with friends. However Milly's first big break as a dj came in 1995 when he earned public recognition and was offered the residency at club „Mungos“ – Kašina along with Dj Dario i Dj Maminho.
"Dj's need to constantly remember why people go out to clubs – simply to have a great time and feel the music.“ He has developed his individual style and a sixth-sense for the crowd to make every party a unique journey into music. 
His passion to share music with people and plenty of hard work assured him nationwide success;dj-ing at venues including Istria-Pula fortress „Fort Bourginhon“, Piramida disco club, Zagreb: Villa Rebar, Hunjka, Gjuro II, Kulušić, Sokol, Sport Billy, etc.... during 1998 and finally residence in Zagreb's most prestigoues nightclub „The best.“ 
Continuing his mission to conquer Croatia's clubbing scene, he progressed with performances on Valkana Beach 1999/2000together with dj Frajman and Roberto Q. Ingram followed by performances with Alen Sforzina and dj Make in Istria. He continued his tour with 4Play and MAX club in Zadar, Magazin Club in Pag, Klub 88 in Novalji at Zrće beach party, Capela disco in Vodice, DubrovnikLazaretima, Tvrđa in Osijek. 
At the beginning of 2001 Milly thought it was wise to have something extra besides a dj career so he left the club scene to begin his own IT company.
In 2007 he once again focused back on music, now with a more mature, self expression. „The dance market has changed a lot since he started, but one thing remains the same, people still want to go out and have a good time.“Although Milly's style is strongly influenced by Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Dubfire .... , you would still recognize „old school“ in his mixes. Milly's unique style is a mixture of elements from electronic dance music, Tech House – Deep Tech – Progressive House to Techno.
Today he is back on the stage active again. He is a frequent guest on Radio Plavi 9, Radio 101, participates in legendary underground techno & house parties „Stereo Studio“ www.stereo-studio.net  to bring the electronic music tradition ahead. Newest parties and projects as a DJ include: Play – Finest Electronic Vibes , UES – United Electronic Sound,  OIL Club – Wienna, „Let's go Techno“ at Maribor (Slovenia), Zagreb Calling, Back 2 the Future, Rave'n'Roll, Dobra Stara Vremena - Techno & House Classics,  Mikleuška open air party , „Fanatic“ club Zagreb, number of private parties labeled as „The Tulum“, participating as a dj in project „Stereo Studio“ together with his old buddies dj's  Kiki, Frajman, Felver i Mary
