Harper's Sleeping is typically a 3 piece of multi- instrument playing scallywags Brandon Whedbee, Kyle Sheets, and Brent Utterback.  Almost all of their songs are recorded in a jam room at Brandon Whedbee's house.  All of the songs are live recordings, unrehearsed, and recorded in one take.

Many other musicians rotate into the lineup, and many of the songs are 2 piece with 2/3 of Harper's Sleeping members

***The name of the band, "Harper's Sleeping" comes from when we first started playing together, we would have to wait for Brandon's daughter, Harper to go to bed before we could jam,  So the guys would call Brandon and ask, "Is Harper Sleeping?"  A green light to jam reply was "Harper's Sleeping."
