For 1 hour he doesn’t move his foot from the throttle and still keeps progressing through his set. His forward moving style of minimal techno gets very deep and dark at times and lights up again with playful psyelements. 

Born and raised in Mainz SPEZI. is now found in Berlin, where this young talent already had a few gigs. His musical path already crossed  Places like AVA Berlin (Die jungen Wilden), Anita Berber & other Open Airs in Berlin. We are excited to hear more from this young man in the future but for now put the volume up and enjoy the ride!

Superstition Records proudly releases Nineties Reloaded – Superstition Classics Reimagined, an authoritative anthology of the legendary 1990s catalogue of the label, updated for contemporary floors and ears. 

Here, in a 20-track anthology, era-defining trance, techno and progressive tracks are revisited with a carefully curated set of remixes by some of the genre’s most iconic names, spanning the pioneering era of European club culture and the future direction of contemporary electronic music.

At its very centre are two solo standouts:
L.S.G.: “Netherworld (BLR X Hel:sløwed Remix)” – A peak-time anthem for 2025, combining BLR’s dark, propulsive production and Hel:sløwed’s euphoric progressive subtlety to re-envision one of trance’s most enduring classics.

Energy 52: “Café Del Mar (Oliver Lieb Extended 2 Remix)” – A decades-long secret reworking by none other than Oliver Lieb himself, emerging from the vault for the first time and presenting an atmospheric but forceful new take on one of electronic’s greatest ever songs.

These are followed by remixes from Humate, Der Dritte Raum, Trancesetters, Sterac, Rabbit In The Moon, Radio Slave, DJ T., Jamie Anderson, John Tejada, Goldfinger, Force Mass Motion, and Bedrock, used on Superstition’s impressive roster: Quazar, The Moon & The Sun, Jens, Marmion, Mijk van Dijk, Phax feat. Steve Bug, Velocity, Paragliders, and many more. Each track stands as a testament to the visionary sound of the label, be they in spacey progressive excursions, stripped-back techno reworks, or deep ambient reinterpretations.

Die Hoffnung auf bessere Zeiten weiht in uns und was gibt es schon besseres, als dieses Gefühl mit musikalischer Untermalung voranzutreiben. Unser neuer Podcast ist dafür ein passender Wegbegleiter - klar, treibend und kraftvoll. 
Diesmal gibt es dunkle, melodische Klänge von SPEZI. In den Mainzer Kellern entdeckte er schon früh die elektronische Tanzmusik für sich und ließ sie seither nicht mehr los. Vier Jahre nach seinem Umzug ins schöne, facettenreiche Berlin widmete er sich dann endgültig der Technomusik und fand seinen Platz hinter den Decks. Seit zwei Jahren kreiert er seine eigenen Sets, die er stets melodisch, durch Vocals und schiebende tief frequentierte Klänge auszuschmücken weiß.

Die neueste Ausgabe unserer Podcastreihe kommt dieses Mal von “Diskokatze”.
Hinter diesem Namen steckt der junge Wahlberliner mit dem Vornamen Raik.
Raik kommt ursprünglich aus der schönen Hansestadt Stralsund, wo er das Feiern und die Liebe zur Musik für sich entdeckte.
Diese Liebe und Leidenschaft zur Szene ermöglichte es ihm, in Berlin Fuß zu fassen und seine eigene Ideen mit dem Exit Kollektiv zu verwirklichen.
Durch die Gründung seines Eventlabels Katzenjammer Records und der Mitgestaltung an dem Jubeljahre Festival, schaffte er sich eine gute Basis für regelmäßigen Output.

Wer bei dem Namen Diskokatze eher einen “Disko-Sound” erwartet, ist weit gefehlt.
Die Sets von Raik bieten straighten Minimal / DeepTech mit bestimmenden Basslines.
