Having worked with Jamie Principle on some of the most seminal house records ever created, expectations are understandably high for Frankie Knuckles' latest single. 

Unsurprisingly with artists of this calibre, it doesn't disappoint. 'I'll Take You There' features all the things you'd expect; luscious chords, fierce bass and of course a flawless vocal from Principle. 

Remixes are typically heavyweight too, in the form of a club-ready bomb from The Shapeshifters and a simple yet effective re-edit from Dimitri from Paris.

Frits Wentink launches his new label Bobby Donny with ‘Live Fast, Dwayne Young’.  Bobby Donny has been set up to primarily feature Frits Wentink’s own tracks, but focusing on the wonkier, more lo-fi house edge of his sound.  The emphasis will be on tracks that are hardware jams on Rhodes, Juno 60 or mpc, then structured later. 

His first EP on Bobby Donny opens with ‘Dwayne Young’, which puts the fun into funky with its deep vibe, filtered vocals and creative samplings.  Slowing it down, ‘Rio’ is next, like a short but sweet interlude of off-kilter slow-mo experimentation.  Then it’s back to the grooving house beats of ‘Guacamole’ with its jazzy backbone, before the melodious ‘Q&A’ kicks in, featuring a gorgeously wobbly overtone.  ‘Aquarelle’ is a perfect ending, with distorted elements gradually coming together to find their harmonious compromise.

With ‘Live Fast, Dwayne Young’ Frits Wentink once again displays the hugely creative talents of this much sought after producer.  It’s released on vinyl and digitally 22nd June.

Sean's "It's Time" album was universally well received in the house community, and rightly so, it was a strong debut featuring an array of talented vocalist and strong songs.

For this EP the tracky 90's style ‘Holding On’ gets reworked by Crackazat who keeps the original vibe adding Smack Productions style keys and his trademark jazzy, warm production to Sean’s original. Crackazat has come to the attention of dj’s including Disclosure, Detroit Swindle and Homework through his releases on Futureboogie and more recently Sweden’s Local Talk where he released his latest album ‘Crescendo’.

Released earlier this year, Atjazz's remix of ‘Reach Out’ feat. Hannah Khemoh was universally well received and supported by Danny Tenaglia, Tensnake, Tony Humphries, Golf Clap, Rainer Trueby and more. Joey Negro has done his own edit of Atjazz's mix focusing on the groove and BV's.

Sean completes the remix package with his own broken dub take on ‘Finally’ featuring vocals from Taliwa.
