...I actually changed that lyric when I realized I didn't want to complain about everything being gray--can you guess why?  

Happy Sunday (did you remember to sping your clocks forward?  I did not.  I was very confused, waking up today!)  

On Sundays, I like to post tracks that are a little different compared to what I typically post--but what does that even mean when it comes to Interbay, where there's no consistent genre, style, tone, or feel (and yet, tracks always end up sounding like Interbay!  Weird, but it works.)  

For today's track, I wanted to work with something at a slower tempo.  96bpm isn't terribly slow--but later in the song, I put in a section that is half time...and 48bpm is pretty damn downtempo.  

Trying to define what genre this latest Interbay track is a challenge (but, when isn't it?)  It's downtempo, for sure.  It's also synth pop.  It's also hip hop (and maybe even trap--depending on your definition.)    You've got some symphonic elements and an opera singer.  

I'm not sure.  It works for me, whatever it is...and if you think you might be into mutant pop like this, you should give this track a listen...see if you like it!  (If you do, make sure to give it a like!)

The track is all about seeking out the elements around us that make us happier, that bring some life, light and color into all of our lives.  Now, more than ever, I think this is important.  We shouldn't live in a black and white world--we should keep our eyes open for anything and everything that makes life livable.
