Dottie Staxx formerly Fatal born Dorothy Smith in Chicago, Illinois. Dottie Staxx is a Grammy nominated & Platinum artist and has been writing music since she was in 4th grade. She started taking her writing more serious by going into the studio at the age of 19. Dottie Staxx is best known for her passion for Neo Soul, R&B, Pop music and Hip Hop.

Dottie brings the music industry a unique versatility, which the industry has been missing for the last 15 years. Her music is based on her past and present life experiences. Artist that inspired Dottie Staxx are 2Pac, 8 Ball & MJG, UGK, R-Kelly, Gerald Levert and MC Lyte to name a few.
