From Planet Saturnara, in the NEXT-LEVEL line of planets, it's rumored that a great danger is near, that the planet's soul will be reawakened as the prophecy says and that reality with cease to exist. Thing is, those are just rumors, right? Well, not to the unknown masked weirdo, Fynaly. Your job is to stop that weirdo's plan and save the planet from destruction! And makes some friends along the way too, who knows, learn new facts too!

me and brycecarrington decided to collaborate on a super mario world hack, and ive had a really great time writing music for it so far. dunno if itll get finished but for the moment im very excited about it! anyway this is the in-game overworld theme.

Here is a demo track for Gwimbly's game in Smiling Friends. Musically this is just a few 'section' ideas that I had that I slammed together, rather than it being a consistent song.

I was still trying to figure out how I was going to recreate the "Sound Font" of the N64 games (particularly to try and match the sounds of Banjo Kazooie + DK64), so this was an early experiment of different instrument and synth patches that included some more realistic sounding orchestral samples that I bitcrushed down (you can hear the particularly crunchy sounding trombones at the start), as well as some midi sounds.

This was made entirely with the Star Fox SNES soundfont except for the cymbals.
It goes a bit beyond the SNES's capabilities, with more than eight channels and some reverb used!
