Lua Souza (Newmoon), nascida em Aracaju, teve seu primeiro contato aos 7 anos com a musica eletrônica de baixo bpm vendo seu tio tocar em aniversários e mixar musicas em sua CDJ e pick-up, musicas mais tribais e melódicas. 
Aos 14 teve seu primeiro contato com o mundo Psychedelic Trance vendo DJs de renome do Psytrance, Full on Night e Progressive, realizando festas de forma harmônica e envolventes. Através de muita pesquisa, Dj Newmoon traz seu Dj Set de high bpm, com uma mescla marcante do bass line e grooves ritualístico. Envolvendo e engrandeço de forma harmônica e também espiritual para o momento de transe (trance), com mantras e cânticos de origens do oriente.
