Hvitling [v'it:ling]; a variety of cod but also the Swedish transliteration of his birth name. He has meandered from the canyons of the Vrbas river to the frosty waters of Öresund before finding his way down to the shores of lake Zurich. Having discovered an inclination for emotional and, at times, melancholic music from an early age whilst strumming classical ballads on his guitar, his attention was rapidly drawn to electronic music. Like a hvitling frolicking in the currents, he takes the listener on a journey through the sea of his mind.

With over 15 years in electronic music, EMAD is a Saudi melodic techno and house producer known for his atmospheric, emotive soundscapes and precise production. Since starting his career in 2004 and producing since 2009, he has developed a distinctive style blending deep melodies with dancefloor energy.

EMAD has performed at major events including Tomorrowland, Formula 1, and MDLBEAST SoundStorm, highlighted by a headline set alongside Afrojack at SoundStorm 2022. He has co-produced with Afrojack and Ownboss, with official remixes from artists such as TV NOISE (STMPD Records).

Rooted in Saudi Arabia’s vibrant scene and driven by global electronic music culture, EMAD is committed to pushing melodic techno forward with quality releases that resonate worldwide.
