Monochrome presents, Hiver II : Verveine & Toé(Dj Set), EWO Collectif.

This winter, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on Ambient, IDM and Deep Techno.

Artist biography :

“In the middle of the night, in the depths of the nocturnal jungle, you wake up. The leaves whisper, creatures of the forest are awake and wander around, you can feel the spirits around you. They are watching you. And the further you go, the more you can hear the sound of the drums made by our tribe. We are calling you to join the ritual.”

Verveine & Toé are part of Eyes Wide Open. A collective born form a deep desire to bring back rituals and sacredness. We create music and immersive visuals experiences, that allows us to connect to our inner and outer landscapes.

Our next artist is a musician based in Shanghai. She acquire inspiration from deep ambient and techno music. Exploring herself and music by her spiritual sensation. Her music is calm, gentle with dynamic and fluctuated vibe. Subtle thoughts lied low in every notes. She cares more about expressing deeper thoughts through music, and pursuing an infinity in between beginning and development. With releases on labels such as Norite, Sungate and On Board Music, and with several more lined up on reputable techno labels, London-based Einerlei continues to hone his brain-bending, intricate sound. Fusing subtlety with a certain directness, he repeatedly - across a range of styles and influences - manages to capture and amplify unexpected atmospheric elements in his compositions. His DJ sets serve as a continuation of this philosophy, weaving a range of influences in a constant search for those unexpected twists and moments which unite a dancefloor.

In his mix for IO, Einerlei seeks to focus around an early dramatic transition, thereafter concentrating on finding a coherent balance between sincerity and playfulness with a mixture of quicker and slower blends being utilised to weave an eminently danceable tale.

However, trace concentrations can also have a negative impact on marine organisms - tumors, gene disorders. There is no complete clarity on the scale of the threat yet, but research is ongoing...
