Every track on Alive When Live is a real-time improv session recorded live at home using an iPad 12, three MIDI controllers (M-Wave SMK25, Korg MicroKey2-25, and Korg NanoKontrol2), and a powerful combo of Audiobus + AUM.
The sessions run through Korg Gadget 3, Groovebox, Launchpad, Blocs Wave, Fugue Machine, RD/FD drum machines, and multiple synth and keyboard apps.
