To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Defected Records presents a series of extra special collaborative releases Together, integrating talent from the label’s storied past and the stars of its future as Mike Dunn, Todd Terry, Barbara Tucker and Jacquee Bennett team up with UK Gold-certified DJ, producer and remixer Majestic on My House EP. The three track EP showcases the seminal sound of these icons, united by resident KISS FM DJ Majestic’s fresh production - continuing their legacy by bringing their unmistakeable sound to fresh ears. Opening with legendary Chicago house producer and vocalist Mike Dunn on ‘House Music’, Dunn’s signature, pioneering flow is on full display as Majestic creates a club-ready damager with crossover appeal. Next, Todd Terry and Jacquee Bennett join Majestic for ‘Rhythm In My Soul’, with Todd Terry’s signature, hard-hitting house style on display underneath Bennett’s powerful and instantly recognisable dance vocals. Closing out My House EP is ‘My Love For You’, an infectious track spotlighting the vocals of Barbara Tucker and proving her status as one of the world’s most in-demand dance vocalists.
