Doublicious started DJ'ing at the age of 13 with a strong focus on Hip Hop. He started producing at the age of 16 on Fast Tracker. In 2018 Doublicious started to focus on producing & DJ'ing electronic music. With a strong taste for Deep House, Progressive & Tech. He established a professional home studio where you will find him playing or producing. For him, it’s all about mood and a deep, hypnotic groove… playing those tracks that gets you riding that train and floating away without you realizing it.

Massimo Conecto: The Journey of a passionate dj

Born Dirk Stommels aka Massimo Conecto has carved a niche for himself in the world of music since 1999, becoming a celebrated dj known for his boundless passion and eclectic taste across various musical styles. His musical journey began in his childhood, inspired significantly by his grandfather, a jazz musician who had the honor of playing alongside the legendary Toots Thielemans. This early exposure to jazz ignited Dirk's lifelong love for music, but it was the rise of house music that truly inspired and set him on his current path.

Dirk's entry into the dj scene was accidental ; a simple question—“Do you have any cd’s in the car to play some music?”—led him to his first gig, marking the crucial start of his dj-career. 

Dirk needed a stage name, and it was during a meeting with the talented dj Ken Bleys that he was introduced to the name Massimo Conecto. Ken recognized Dirk's unique ability to connect people, especially through music, and the name was a perfect fit.

Over the years, Massimo Conecto has evolved as a dj, performing at a variety of events both in Belgium and internationally. His performances at private parties, Karma Lodge in South Africa, and the vibrant Kae Funk in Zanzibar showcase his versatility and appeal. Notable appearances at Café d’Anvers and Floorfiller Festival in his homeland became annual highlights,  manifesting his growing influence in the music scene.

In recent years, Massimo has played at prestigious afterparty’s for major events such as Defected Croatia and he recently returned to Zanzibar, further solidifying his international presence. As a resident dj and organizer for the Journey of Love events, he has been instrumental in creating unforgettable experiences at already legendary gatherings like The Theatre of Love, The Library of Love,  The Palace of Love and The Cruise of Love. While he has mastered various musical styles, Massimo is currently embracing Melodic/Techno and Progressive House, indicating an exciting new chapter in his musical evolution.

As whispers circulate about his plans to produce his own music, Massimo Conecto remains committed to his core identity: connecting the right people at the right place through the universal language of music. For him, music is not just sound; it is a deeply felt emotion that lies at the heart of humanity.

of a bigger journey without ending.
