Duncan Townsend began his career playing 6 nights a week in the live music clubs of Hamburg’s infamous Reeperbahn (known as the training ground of The Beatles) where he founded several singer/songwriter series which still run today.

After the release of his first solo album came several support and solo tours around Germany and Europe, including numerous 5000-capacity venues together with Katie Melua. 

Duncan has now garnered over 20 years of experience as a live entertainer in countries all over the world, playing for Kings and Queens and even the Dalai Lama. 

As a songwriter, Duncan Townsend has amassed over 500 million streams, contributed to eight #1 albums, been awarded multiple gold, platinum and diamond discs and his songs have found their way into several films, series and major advertising campaigns. From X-Factor winning singles to German Hip-Hop hits, Dance classics and underground bands to a full-scale puppet musical, Duncan continuously creates without borders.
