This is an improv on the patch I used in concert last Saturday, 2/16/13) at Robotspeak in San Francisco for the Serge DIY Workshop. The patch focuses on beats applied to melody, percussion and noise/modulation. It is performed live in a single pass.

Btw, This is the patch that I demo'd in an earlier state of development. It's Patch Example 2 below.

Robotspeak (Single pass, solo performance)

Doug Lynner, a.k.a. synthesizerman,  was editor/publisher of the seminal synthesizer magazine, Synapse. He attended the California Institute of the Arts where his primary mentors were Harold Budd, Morton Subotnick and Leonid Hambro.

He is a founding member of the synthpop bands Invisible Zoo, Moebius and LEM and is a radio host on FlashbackAlternatives.com with his monthly show, Doug Lynner's World of Noise.
