The Lost Song

My friend Doug Newman came up with this melody and got it started lyrically.  I worked on it later to finish it up, and then recorded this demo.  It's basically a "hope-out-of-heartache" tune.

All Day Rain

I wrote this tune somewhere around '98 or '99, just before the Y2K hysteria.  At the time I was musing about how much the year 2000 looked not all that different from 1990, or 1980, or...   Still waiting for my flying car!

Same Old Future

This is a song of mine from about '89, from my albums "The Sandhill Waltz" and "Songs for a Rainy Day". I've always thought it sounded like a Hank Williams influenced song - about the only one of mine I can think of mine offhand.

Full Circle

There was a time in my life when I was working about 60 or more hours a week, and was always preoccupied with my work, even when at home.  I came to see how little time and attention I was giving to my wife and kids, and I tried to put this song together, but from the neglected party's point of view.
