I'm glad you found that draft, cause it has potential. I like the images and the tiny tweaks in the chord strumming.

This could work on a country backing track, with a prominent acoustic guitar and some slides. Maybe it also works in a very stripped down arrangement: acoustic guitar, cajon, shaker. But I don't hear big electric and full blown drumming.

The past few months have been a wonderful time for my eldest son and his partner, who are expecting a child. They wanted to share the good news of the pregnancy but had some concerns about going public in the early stages and decided to wait until the first sonogram and medical check confirmed everything was as it should be. 

During those early days the undivided love they felt for each other in starting a new family grew and when they felt secure enough they finally shared their news with the family.

I’ll never forget the excitement when they showed us the first sonogram photo – that new family was becoming more real with every passing day.
Then came the second image, showing the baby nearing full development, with a clear indication of gender.  Jason and Nicky felt it was time to name their child, choosing Richard Terence Reeves – RTR.   Sharing the name Terence with me makes me so very emotional.  
Being a granddad was something I had never expected but I am filled with pride to be just that to Richard Terence Reeves.

Deep thanks to Hans for once again producing such a wonderful arrangement for the song I wrote to celebrate the occasion.  It really captures the growing excitement we‘ve all been feeling over the past few months. Thanks so much for listening. 

Gary has asked me to apologize to anyone who has messaged him over the last couple of months and hasn’t received a reply.  Health problems and hospital appointments, among other things, have been taking up much of our time recently. David Lucas and his late father, Bill Lucas, an acclaimed Sydney architect attended my voice workshops held by the "Once Extra Dance Company" back in the "80's". Adventurous , creative souls with no holds barred on what was the beginnings of Danse Danse. It was then called "Dance Out Of Beat" and was a commentary on the club scene that I'd very much been a part of in the "60's" In recent times I invited Annette Scott on board who has brought it brilliantly to fruition along with my longtime collaborator, Jazz pianist/composer, Kirk Kadish. Now we have a new take on the current dance scene with a touch of empowerment as to whom has the final moves.

Delighted to present my latest collaboration with The Phaige, one half of Soundcloud stalwarts One and Other, alongside Jaime J Ross. This is a trippy, exotic backcloth with a cold North wind blowing through. 
Gary once again amazed with his creativity and his multi-layered production. He has such a keen ear for detail and brushstrokes to enhance and improve. What grabbed me from the outset was the slinky, fluid bass playing, but there are many levels across the frequencies to hook you in. Always a fun process to work with him.

SOMEDAY THE WEIGHT OF THIS YEAR ON MY LIFE WILL BE AN ALBUM FULL OF PAIN,... BUT, RIGHT NOW IT SEEMS LIKE I'M CENTRALLY LOCATED IN HELL

1987 WENT TO Nashville for a “short week” Music row to make the big time … wow … nobody listens in lawsuit land in those days. 1988 WENT TO NASHVILLE for 3 days (surely, I would crack this puzzle and become famous …) so many on benches in front of churches. Frustrated, didn’t sing publicly again basically for 25 years. (after all, where would a singer/song writer, make a name for himself in Karaoke land).
2010 discovered open mics (new world begins). WRITING SINCE …a lot! Had someone to produce me in limited acoustic style for a couple years…I think a few were damn good “Fields of Quiet Soil”. Had a lot of offers to write lyrics and/or sing for a lot of other artists here. (but no recording capability …let alone a decent computer for my own. TODAY, THINGS CHANGE …I’m here to make an impact (got 4 new ones under my belt recently) …plus some old ones you will not be disappointed listening to. Welcome old music fans and artists., potential serious collabs.
