Feelgood Experiment features the best of Bristol's blossoming jazz scene creating a truly progressive sound with compelling rhythm and mellifluous harmony doused with liberating improvisation and rich lyrical content.

With support from BBC 6Music & Clash Magazine the band released their debut EP in November 2017. Winners of 2016’s Love Supreme Discovery Competition, they have already shared stages with Nubya Garcia, Ezra Collective, Alfa Mist among others. 

With a follow up release planned in the next year the band are set to further solidify their standing in the UK jazz scene.

[Don’t panic – no children were harmed in the making of this band!] The Schoolboy is a saxophonist and rhyme-slinger with some forthright ideas. Together with his band the Death Trio (a Memento Mori) they form a militant unit of freedom loving, pUnk-JazZ-pOeTRy pushers.  

Born in the depths of Bristol’s underground scene SDT bring a message of reaffirmation, sometimes spiritual, often political and always existential. Their music is a distillation of heavy rhythms and dirty fuzz bass, upon which The Schoolboy applies his ferocious saxophone blast. Think Last Poets raging at the top of Cypress Hill with more than a touch of Sun Ra.

Holysseus Fly is unapologetically embracing her pop star dreams on her own terms, making alt pop with soul and electronic influences. 

With the show-womanship of Lady Gaga and emotional intimacy of James Blake, Fly is laying her own unique path. As supported by The Guardian, she really is one to watch. 

Delivering choruses that rise like thunder, the 2023 debut solo EP 'Birthpool' delivered heartfelt lyrics that not only embraced her audience, but welcomed them into her journey of personal and creative reclamation, following her recovery from breast cancer in 2021.

In March 2024 the follow up single Out Of This World “pushed this striking sound further” (The Guardian).  The same month she opened for Nick Mulvey on a sold-out 2024 UK tour including the London Hammersmith Apollo. In April Fly completed an artist residency at the prestigious Snape Maltings developing her live show - working with a team behind shows fron Madonna, Lorde and Florence + The Machine. She also completed her participation on the Sound and Music's New Voices program (supported by Arts Council, PRS and PPL). 

Most recently, she won audiences with her Glastonbury debut, plus a headline-worthy mainstage performance at Forwards Festival sharing alongside CMAT, Jessie Ware and LCD Soundsystem. 

Fly has just been selected as a resident artist at The Bristol Beacon (supported by PRS and Arts Council), and is primed to push her artistry further with a bolder, more expansive sound on her 2025 summer EP, 'A Red Sea' and 2026 debut album.
