One day when “homard” project, then completed, is showcased in a museum of some sort, we’ll put on serious faces to tell visitors various stories about the whole process, and all those stories are almost bound to start from the very beginning – a small white room in a house on Hovsep Arghutyan street, Arabkir district, Yerevan, Armenia. Those people will listen to our stories and go “Where did you say? Romania? Albania?” And in order to avoid having to pull even more serious faces to tell them about Armenia, we have asked @luciakagramanyan to collect the Armenian Music Anthology, as we were convinced she would be the best at it. Now, every time we want to tell somebody about Armenia, we can suggest that they listen to this mix, in which we have slowly and carefully collected a very small part of the great legacy we have inherited, trying to look at it through the prism of history.

Meeresrausch, Kabachel Kabuff, Freitagabend, Sonnenuntergang mit Borka und der Crew. Wuuffff....das muss erstmal verabreitet werden!

Vielen Dank an alle Beteiligten, Tänzer*innen, Kumpels und Kumpelinen und vor allem my faithfully Borka Bjoernson für dieses grandiose musiaklische Experiment.

Ein 118 Bpm Set auf unserem Floor.Dit hätt ich mir ja auch nicht träumen lassen. Fetzte aber ziemlich.

Aufgrund der mittelmäßigen Aufnahme ist dies ein Re-recording des Sets, sodass die Liveelemente nicht zu hören sind. Die bleibt aber in den Köpfen von allen, die vor Ort gewesen sind. Und man munkelt, dass mein Grinsen bei Borkas Live Vocals beim Pophop Remix von Zakora noch immer zu sehen ist. 

Und nun viel Spaß bei der musikalischen Unterhaltung.

Behind every track or remix is a little story to tell and the story behind Fred und Luna's first remix ever is quite bizarre. But before Rainer Buchmüller alias Fred und Luna could work his 'Kraut-Skills' on Peter Pardeike's remix his computer was completely down. But Rainer would not be Rainer if he did not come up with a plan. The Karlsruhe resident jumped onto the next train to Berlin to meet up with his friend Achim Treu alias UFO Hawaii, who bailed Rainer out of this misery and helped him set up this 'krauty' remix.

Peter Pardeike's 'Love Supreme Remix EP'  including Fred und Luna's remix will be out September 18th on Connaisseur Recordings.
