John wrote and produced his first project, "Sides of The Soul" in 2009.  He toured over 30 shows with Sister Hazel, opened for BB King, and sang on NBC's Today Show.  Out of 12,000 entries, John's songs placed in the top 10 of the NSAI songwriting contest 3 years in a row.  After 5 years of meetings and working his way into the Nashville writing community, John signed his first publishing deal as a staff writer with Reba Mcentire's company Starstruck in October 2013.

The Marc Joseph Band one of the top booking bands in the Greater Toronto Area with a loyal fan base. MJB has recently toured L.A. performing places like the legendary Whiskey A Go Go and attended the world’s biggest music conference NAMM. They also filmed their music video in L.A., San Diego and Las Vegas. With more tour opportunities across Canada, in the US, Dubai, England, and the Caribbean, it looks like Toronto won’t be keeping The Marc Joseph Band its coveted entertainment secret for much longer. "Breathe" marks the first original EP release by The Marc Joseph Band. MJB has also just been signed to Velvet Orb for a publishing/licensing agreement which will enable them to sell and license their music to commercials, t.v shows and other major avenues.
