Having made a splash with their first two releases, Hello Yes has returned with their first original track, “Out of My Mind”, available for streaming and purchase on March, 11, 2022. Having toured with Zhu, playing the likes of Lollapalooza, EDC, Life is Beautiful, Lightning in a Bottle, Bonnaroo and more, Hello Yes is stepping into the spotlight. 

The pair's previous covers of “Belong” and “Praise You” established a fun and adaptive sound, their bona fide sound and eccentric flair distinguish the pair from the masses and demonstrate their grip on a multitude of genres. Swathed in sultry essence, “Out of My Mind” is a striking introduction to Hello Yes’ sound. Gritty guitar riffs pair expertly with the duo’s vocals before dropping into a hypnotizing bridge. 80s synths and resounding basslines work as an audacious showcase of the pair's diverse sound. Through these sundry sounds, the Hello Yes project explores themes of trust, pain, and anguish in relationships, often referring to the emotional imprint experiences have on our mind’s psyche. Their previous covers have received support from Emotional Oranges, Avant Garden Records, and more.

The Beginning, out June 3rd on Gravitas Recordings, is a journey of introspection, blending both masculine and feminine energy and providing moments of movement. This is quite literally “The Beginning” for Bass Temple as she has been making a name for herself playing shows at The Black Box, Denver Ecstatic Dance, CloZee’s Voyage Festival, and many more. Bass Temple’s sound captures a mix of psychedelic and reflective bass music, creating a more intentional listening experience. With recent releases from High Vibes Recordings, this EP showcases the freedom to explore new sounds and ideas that felt true to where her sound has musically grown.

Wild, out May 27th on Gravitas Recordings, is a journey through bass and urban beats that showcases Lil Fish’s vibrant sound. Lil Fish has had support from massive producers ever since his first LP in 2016 featuring artists such as Al’Tarba, CloZinger, Arure, Screenatorium and many more. His sound captures a blend of Trip-Hop, and Bass music to create a unique blend of sound.  With recent releases making waves on Gravitas Recordings, this new EP ties these all together to highlight the style of Lil Fish and what the future holds.

“A Misty Morning” kicks off the EP by creating a beautiful yet mystifying atmosphere, all building into hard hitting urban beats setting the tone for the musical journey to come. “Arawana” keeps this energy high with its rhythm and distant vocals and synths bringing tension for something big, dropping hard hitting bass and and diving full force into a blend of Trip-Hop and Dub. “Watcha” starts strong, building the hard bass lines into a tasteful Dubstep drop while still maintaining its roots in the original urban beats that began the EP.  “Soldiers Of Shadows” take us on this journey further into something even heavier and darker with a very tasteful blend of Dub. “Breathe” takes this high energy and transforms it into something beautiful, truly making the listener sit back and breathe after a hard hitting track and enjoy the soundscape Lil Fish creates. “Wild” closes this journey perfectly with the title track, combining the heavy hitting elements teased along the way with the beautiful atmosphere he created, an amazing blend that shows off both sides of Lil Fish to close this EP.

The gravitational influence of Street Ritual ripples into 2023 with the 'DISCOVERIES' compilation. We've taken some of our favorite track submissions from the last year and brought them together in a showcase of the heavy, gritty, and experimental styles buried deep within the cavernous world of underground bass. Consisting of fifteen tracks seething with elements of dubstep, drum & bass, crunchy halftime, and leftfield bass, 'DISCOVERIES' stays true to our label's everlasting mission to uncover and feed the lifeblood of modern bass music.

Hailing from the redwood trees of Santa Cruz, DownsquareZ is the musical project of Colin McAndrews, a drummer and beat-maker since an early age.

Colin carved a name for himself playing renegade gatherings, soaking his original sounds into the forest canopy late at night. His bass heavy production style combines Glitch Hop and Dubstep with analog synth sounds, vinyl samples, and melodic atmospheres.
