Since his first successes as a DJ and producer, Marco Tegui has been drawn to the most renowned dance floors of the world - from the Winter Music Conference in Miami, via Ibiza and to Berlin. With his new EP, The Wizard, he demonstrates his talent iin producing interesting tracks between Downtempo and Electronica. He is accompanied along the way by the three artists The Note V, Vruno and Tone of Arc. The Wizard Sails Alone, constistent with the rest of the EP, moves within the lowest BPM-Range and incorporates elegant vocals in the process. Untitled Bong shines with playful flutes and dreamy melodies. Chilaquiles is defined  with a fabulous drumming. Next, Times High speeds up the tempo with catchy Deep House elements and synth chords. Ayayay rounds off the EP by pulsating percussions and string instruments. The Wizard, a timeless must have, impressively embodies a South American rhythmic feel and invites lovers of genre-surpassing club music to the land of the sun.

Every year Sabo’s label @Solselectas drops its highly anticipated Summer Sol compilation and our personal favorite is one of those feel good tunes for this summer by the wicked Swiss Duo @Okuma-sounds. 

It hits stores on the 19th of June which is the day of the summer solstice, as the EP’s concept is a celebration of world culture, as regardless of skin colour, gender or social background, Sol Selectas motto, is that we are all equal under the light on the sun.

This year’s compilation features music from over twenty different countries and lyrics in many different languages produced by a variety of wonderful talented artists. 

Covering a range of tempos, the tracks vary in style from melodic deep house to meditative electronica, all with rich percussive textures and enchanting melodies.

The next drink in our glass is served to you by the marvelous Armenian musician Moon’s Voyager. His tracks, in which he gives oriental harmonies a danceable character, deal with the diversity of life in all its manifestations.

The first track on the EP is called "The Blue Shoeshiner" and the outstanding piano melody takes us back to a time when saloons and juke boxes still where a big thing. The two remixes by Samaha and MONKYMAN take up the basic idea of the track and give it their own flavor in a unique way.

The second track with the title "The Bride’s of Moks", tells the story of an ancient Armenian province in all its beauty and grace. Modern electronic revisions were contributed by nutia and Antaares.

As usual we want to thank all artists involved, as well as Kilian Van De Water for the outstanding artwork and Haunted Water for the flawless mastering.
