What began as an outlet for unreleased soundtrack work quickly found a home in the excitement of mid-2010's SoundCloud culture. Since then, FLOOR BABA has continued to craft a unique combination of game composition and today's emergent electronic stylings. Through FLOOR BABA what's old and what's new dance in a personal exploration.

‘Hold It Close’ is an overview of my journey as a music producer. It touches on the pitfalls, ambitions, and promises that you make to yourself throughout the pursuit of being a musician.

As I began writing with a feeling and an atmosphere, I started thinking, “What am I going through while making this? What do I want to talk about? What do I need to talk about? Who else is affected by the same things?”
