BLOOM RECORDS PODCAST 195 - NICO SZABO

Nico Szabo, DJ / Producer / Remixer native from Buenos Aires, Argentina, born on May 31, 1995. 


He started studying music at 12 years old, when he began to play the guitar and the electronic bass. One year later he discovers the electronic music and decided to learn about it. 


For years he has been working on House and Techno music, finally landing in the progressive sound with which he identifies himself, taking influences from legends such as Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Nick Warren and djs from the local scene like Mariano Mellino, Marcelo Vasami, Soundexile and many more.
He tries to find the balance between melody and groove, they are the two fundamental factors in his productions.


He made his first ever release on early 2018 in Balkan Connection South America and by early 2019 he had already released ´Soledad´ in Soundteller Records, a song that was recently featured on The Soundgarden´s compilation album by Nick Warren on the prestigious Balance Series. And now it has original content that is constantly being supported by artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Graziano Raffa, Soundexile and many more.


He also had the honor of sharing the booth with Baunder, Nicolas Rada, Emi Galvan, Nicholas Van Orton and many more.

DP-6 is a music project founded in 2000 by Vadim Indigo and Alexey Filin. The duo's work is deeply influenced by the electronic scene of the 1990s, which has shaped their unique style and artistic vision. A turning point for DP-6 came in 2003 with the release of their debut vinyl record.

In addition to composing music, Vadim and Alexey are the founders of DP-6 Records, a label that not only releases their own tracks but also supports the talents of other artists. DP-6 is also known for their successful remixes released on various labels.

Over the years, DP-6 has performed at numerous vibrant events across a wide geographical range, including their own parties under the DP-6 Records brand.
