3 QUESTIONS to CATZ 'N DOGZ:

Q: Let's get into your mix, into the mood. Why did you select these tracks and what did they mean to you in your early days? And of course: What do they still mean to you today?

A: Pure memories! Voitek did his selection and I did it, so we mixed everything together. We grew up in the same city in similar time so our selection was crossing very often. Anyway I know we left so much good and important music that we forgot or simply it didn’t fit. So there is a lot of tracks missing here but we were just following the flow. All those tracks brings different memories and they are still very strong. Some of them inspired us, some of them brings the best party memories and others reminds us of a childhood time.

Q: Summer is here and we're all allowed to play some nice gigs. How did you follow up things recently?

A: It’s so good to be back on the road!! We missed it so much. All the parties are sold out and people are going crazy. We play a lot in Poland right now as it’s the safest and the easiest for the promotors. So definitely the local scenes around the world are doing good. We also play in Barcelona, US tour is coming in soon and next week we go to Croatia for the Defected Festival. We are really happy to be back.

Q: Which future projects are on the way?

A: We have a lot of singles and remixes to be out soon. We just released new EP on Eats Everything's Edible label, we have remixes on Pets and Toolroom. Also new EPs on Pets, Sweatitout and right now we are working on a new album.

Biography: 
Alex ElVíl (DJ, Producer, Remixer), Buenos Aires Argentina From a very young age has been involved in a great music scene. His father, a DJ from the 70s and 80s, introduced him to the sounds that would define his future in music. During his adolescence he practiced and studied music. He joined the rock circuit as a drummer. Experienced in various styles, Rock, Punk Rock, Pop, electronic ... Later on he was part of the famous “CLUB XXI Tent” in which great electronic DJs played, such as Carlos Alfonsín, Luis Nieva, Zuker, Romina Cohn, Benedetta, Rowan Blades, Spitfire, among others ... He took an interest in it and turned to mixing and production software. His alias changed to Alex ElVíl (a tribute to his father who was his teacher and an active part of this project). From that great change, new sounds and musical styles emerged, which led him to meet both national and international DJs. As for live sessions, he has played at local events, sets at live shows, live sets on online radios, etc. In 2011 he joined the Staff of BeatLounge with the RadioShow called "BeatClub". In this show we will be able to appreciate new sounds and trends from different genres of electronic music. House and its subgenres (Progressive House, Deep House, Tech House, etc) are some of the styles that can be heard in BeatClub. He currently broadcasts his monthly podcast (Another Visions) where he invites you to discover new sounds ... He continues to participate as a guest in sessions around the world.

DP-6 is a music project founded in 2000 by Vadim Indigo and Alexey Filin. The duo's work is deeply influenced by the electronic scene of the 1990s, which has shaped their unique style and artistic vision. A turning point for DP-6 came in 2003 with the release of their debut vinyl record.

In addition to composing music, Vadim and Alexey are the founders of DP-6 Records, a label that not only releases their own tracks but also supports the talents of other artists. DP-6 is also known for their successful remixes released on various labels.

Over the years, DP-6 has performed at numerous vibrant events across a wide geographical range, including their own parties under the DP-6 Records brand.
