With their debut single ‘Get Real’ included on a feature last year by Resident Advisor, and a recent remix on Pablo Bolivar’s house and techno imprint, ‘Seven Villas’, Haider Uppal and Lost Boy team up as a duo in 2025.

For them, house music is a way to stay rooted within their shared cultural heritage. Built through the sonic textures and emotions borrowed from their roots, they reinterpret South Asian beats through an electronic framework.

Their research focused thematic EP weaves together archives of raags, sitar motifs, and poetic rhythms. One of the tracks samples a raag once performed live by Ravi Shankar in 1974, but its tone and phrasing were reshaped to create something magical yet simple, letting the Sitar evoke emotion. The B-side by Lost Boy weaves in recordings of the great singer Mehdi Hassan into a sonic journey which resonates emotionally. The two songs were meant to be packaged together. Rounding the release is a bonus track from them which fits melodic dancefloors around the world.

Haider and Lost Boy focus to reshape how electronic music connects with South Asian culture through their body of work.

DP-6 is a music project founded in 2000 by Vadim Indigo and Alexey Filin. The duo's work is deeply influenced by the electronic scene of the 1990s, which has shaped their unique style and artistic vision. A turning point for DP-6 came in 2003 with the release of their debut vinyl record.

In addition to composing music, Vadim and Alexey are the founders of DP-6 Records, a label that not only releases their own tracks but also supports the talents of other artists. DP-6 is also known for their successful remixes released on various labels.

Over the years, DP-6 has performed at numerous vibrant events across a wide geographical range, including their own parties under the DP-6 Records brand.
