Dima Bigulaev, G-Day - Question [Crossfade Sounds]

And today we are going to please you with a new mini album «Meditation", recorded during gloomy winter evenings together with DP-6 project and rcnetlark. Continuing the idea of "67P Churyumov-Gerasimenko" album, “Meditation" also consists of seven episodes. But this time it comes from space depths down to earth for calm, harmony and balance.
Meditation was inspired by the idea of combining atmospheric electronic music and ethnic motifs. All the episodes of the album are purposely arranged in the their creation order,  not to disrupt the harmony of meditation.
We were looking for the beauty in sleeping winter forest, wrapped in snow, in the foggy sea and in the most non-obvious spaces. Sometimes music made us feel blue and sometimes we found solace in it. 
And finally, when we finished the seventh episode, we realized that we had succeded to share our feelings with you. So close your eyes and follow your breath. The meditation begins.

Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint rounds out the month of September by showcasing new interpretations of ‘Salted Caramel' by Pedro Capelossi. With a production career that spans just over half a decade, Pedro Capelossi has quickly emerged from Spain's avant-garde electronic music landscape. The Brazilian born, Barcelona based artist has forged a distinctive sound which focuses on inventive use of atmosphere and rhythm, drawing the lines between global dance cultures without adhering to any fixed formula. From progressive minded roots, Pedro's sonic palette evolved into one with greater organic depth and broader usability overall, ultimately finding a home on Pablo Bolivar's Seven Villas, a label where he has notched eight discography credits. Sound Avenue would also become a regular landing spot for Pedro's creations, beginning with the Madloch & Subnode collaborative project ‘Turmeric Latte'. It was this meeting of the minds which ultimately set the course for a creative swell, one which saw Pedro go on to release seven originals and two remixes across the next two calendar years for the Belgian imprint. With the year getting underway with ‘Salted Caramel', a four-track showcase of solo productions, Sound Avenue now invites Luis León, Jelly for the Babies, Eric Louis and Konomo to re-imagine the EP in their own inimitable styles.

I’ve always loved random plonk — my own name for arpeggios. My life force comes from music, especially melodies, and nothing tops a powerful random plonk.

With Sekhem, my vision was to see how many random plonks could play together at once — creating a groovy inferno of chaos. The vision wasn’t variation or polished professionalism, but a pure mantra of raw chaos in random plonks.

And the question remains: what’s the magical number I actually managed to fit in, all working together at the same time?

DP-6 is a music project founded in 2000 by Vadim Indigo and Alexey Filin. The duo's work is deeply influenced by the electronic scene of the 1990s, which has shaped their unique style and artistic vision. A turning point for DP-6 came in 2003 with the release of their debut vinyl record.

In addition to composing music, Vadim and Alexey are the founders of DP-6 Records, a label that not only releases their own tracks but also supports the talents of other artists. DP-6 is also known for their successful remixes released on various labels.

Over the years, DP-6 has performed at numerous vibrant events across a wide geographical range, including their own parties under the DP-6 Records brand.
