I'm happy to finally release my first extended set with you, recorded at StereoBar in Montreal. StereoBar is a club that's quickly jumped onto my shortlist of favorite venues in the world. Beyond the nailing the club fundamentals (sound system, layout, lighting, staff), they feature the "All Night" series where one DJ plays as opener, headliner, and closer. I love this format since it gives me the opportunity to build the energy from scratch and take the night in any direction without constraints.

But more importantly, I get to play for one of the most enthusiastic, supportive crowds that I've ever encountered. The energy from this night was the strongest I've felt in quite some time, certainly my best gig of the last year. Almost everything I threw out there worked, which actually makes me think that I might not have worked hard enough. There are many more sonic landscapes I'd love to explore, so hopefully I can come back again soon and we can take another journey in that special room...

Little Helpers is a conceptual digital label courtesy of Andrew Rasse (a.k.a. Butane) and Sean O'Neal (a.k.a. Someone Else) launched in December 2009. Each track is a strong, reduced groove-tool aimed to satisfy the increasing number of digital DJs. Much like the traditional lockgroove vinyl, these tracks are suitable for looping, editing and layering. Yet at the same time, each track has enough variation to stand on its own.  ‚Euneirophrenia’ (the peaceful state of mind after a pleasant dream...see we teach you things!) is an exercise in how best to use the sound of an elephant in a breakdown. Featuring one of the sickest bass line the label has released, this tune has rocked each and every time it's dropped, and been asked for repeatedly. 
 ‚Orenda’ goes deep. It is a lonesome melancholic beauty that slowly opens and delicately presents strings and subtle vocals. 
 ‚Tarantism’ evokes the fading days of summertime as winter approaches. Its lonely chords and sad strings pull on the heart. Gorgeous and very all day i dream.
 ‚Yügen’ closes out the EP with another slow burner. Gently blossoming from its drum led intro, the emotive melodies build while deeper tones play off them and punctuate to make it a gorgeous piece of music.

I’ve been obsessed with the multimorphic nature of time. Since March, so much has happened, yet nothing has changed. Every day is a copy, but yesterday feels like a distant dream. Time is abundant and infinite, yet I wonder where it has all gone.

My recent meditations have been extremely vivid. They’ve reminded me to embrace the now, which has diluted into always. Maybe I’m experiencing eternity, a taste of immortality. Sounds like something nice.

DP-6 is a music project founded in 2000 by Vadim Indigo and Alexey Filin. The duo's work is deeply influenced by the electronic scene of the 1990s, which has shaped their unique style and artistic vision. A turning point for DP-6 came in 2003 with the release of their debut vinyl record.

In addition to composing music, Vadim and Alexey are the founders of DP-6 Records, a label that not only releases their own tracks but also supports the talents of other artists. DP-6 is also known for their successful remixes released on various labels.

Over the years, DP-6 has performed at numerous vibrant events across a wide geographical range, including their own parties under the DP-6 Records brand.
