The new release, DP-6 - Winds of Saturn, is dedicated to one of the windiest places in the Solar System and delves into the murky depths of Saturn's atmosphere. From time to time, powerful "white" storms, each larger than Earth, break through the cloud layers. Incredibly strong winds create unusual cloud structures.
There are three areas where special clouds, known as "Cloud Decks," can be found. Three versions of the track on the release are dedicated to these areas: Top Visible Cloud Deck, Second Cloud Deck, and Lowest Cloud Deck.

A long time ago in a galaxy far away lived Jedi. Their job was to keep the universe safe from the ever increasing threat of the Empire. Sadly, the Jedi were wiped out and the Empire took over the universe with its evil agenda. This left an unlikely duo from Miami Florida with no choice but to bear arms and strike the Empire head on.

This is really just a story of House Music vs EDM and how Nik and Ryan AKA ' @TheSponges ' took the world by storm with their hybrid form of catchy disco hooks and infectious house grooves. 

After their first hit record "Make It Juicy!” which garnered support from Malaa, Jauz, AC Slater, Motez, Destructo, Aston Shuffle, Ardalan, Golf Clap, Marc Spence and many many more, the boys bring you their debut EP. 

I Can Dance and Space Funk '75 are both in their own rights lead singles but for you, the listener, we could not hold onto these any longer. That would not be fair. As well as these, on the flip we have label boss Jeff Doubleu putting a dark twist on Space Funk '75. A real 4am jam. 

Trying to convince you in a few paragraphs how unique this EP is wouldn't be enough. It would be like trying to convince a Star Wars fan that Jar Jar Binks deserved his lead roll in Episode I... But unlike Jar Jar, The Sponges are here to stay.

DP-6 is a music project founded in 2000 by Vadim Indigo and Alexey Filin. The duo's work is deeply influenced by the electronic scene of the 1990s, which has shaped their unique style and artistic vision. A turning point for DP-6 came in 2003 with the release of their debut vinyl record.

In addition to composing music, Vadim and Alexey are the founders of DP-6 Records, a label that not only releases their own tracks but also supports the talents of other artists. DP-6 is also known for their successful remixes released on various labels.

Over the years, DP-6 has performed at numerous vibrant events across a wide geographical range, including their own parties under the DP-6 Records brand.
