DEEPDOWN SESSION 8 | Nico Moreira

Nico originally from Villa Maria, Cordoba, Argentina, is a DJ/Producer living in Byron Bay, Australia. Nico has been listening to electronic music for more than 10 years, which led him to start DJing in March 2018 and quickly became heavily influenced by DJs such as Hernán Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J, Kevin Di Serna, Ezequiel Arias, Dmitry Molosh, Nacho Varella & Cruz Vitor, and Berni Turletti. These artists, coupled with the Argentine underground scene, focused his taste for electronic music on Progressive House which led him to start producing his melodies. By then, his love for Progressive House had grown and grown, and today Nico describes this passion as INEFFABLE. That is, 'too great or extreme to be expressed or described in words'. While his first club appearance was in 2018, he has since presented around Sydney’s scene sharing his music. Notable locations include Deepdown (Byron Bay), Civic Underground, Carousel, Slyfox, Burdekin Hotel, Goodbar, Oxford Underground, and Greenwood Hotel. Through his music, Nico wishes to share his passion with you!

Ayden Hector still has a lot of interests outside of school and extracurriculars, despite his hectic schedule. He likes to spend time with his family and friends and engage in nearby outdoor pursuits, such as skiing in the winter and water skiing in the summer at a nearby lake. Basketball is another sport he likes to play to keep active.

While still a college student, Ayden has continued to develop a fantastic resume. In addition to excelling in the classroom and on the football field, he routinely gives back to the neighborhood where he lives. He has been able to do this, and the friendships and personal skills he has gained will help him long after he graduates from college.

Ayden has continued to make his mark at Colorado State University, both as a student and an athlete. Playing defensive back for the Rams, he quickly earned recognition for his skill and dedication by securing all-conference honors after only seven games. His early success is a testament to the discipline, passion, and determination he has carried with him since childhood, helping him excel at the highest level of collegiate football competition.

In 2022, Hector stepped into a leadership role on defense, recording 24 tackles and three interceptions throughout the season. His standout performance came on October 7, when he tallied eight tackles, added an interception, and returned one for a touchdown. These moments not only showcased his athletic ability but also his ability to perform under pressure. With three years of eligibility still ahead, he is focused on growing as both a player and a leader for the Rams.

Ayden Hector’s dedication extends far beyond sports, as he has consistently given back to the community. He founded B.Box in high school to provide birthday gifts for homeless teens and continues this work today with Colorado State’s food pantry. His commitment to service highlights values of compassion, leadership, and integrity.
