This is probably my favorite beat I've made to date. Was one of the first I made when I moved into what was a funeral home and is now a community center o.o. Random time/memory stamp for anyone who knows me. Realizing the privilege I had to be a part of the start of a new beginning and in a community, I felt failed me and my brothers. I used that space to create new and destroy old habits. Around this time I fell out with people I gave more energy and time than my own family & it was a huge wake-up call. That regardless of what society expected of me regardless of what I perceived of me then I needed to reach god & self-love and discipline was that.
