A modern synth rock instrumental reminiscent of the later music from the awe-inspiring Castlevania video game series. As an homage to the genre of video game music, this song features a beefy FM bass from a genuine Mega Drive’s YM2612 sound chip along with some smooth E-MU marcato strings coming from a real Super Famicom’s SPC700.

Born in 1978, I grew up in the golden age of 8-bit video games. Mainly Big N's chip music has always been inspiring to me and kindled my love for electronic music.

I took piano lessons from the age of 5 and wrote my first own pieces as a teenager, but feeling overshadowed by my late father, who was a well-known German rock guitarist, I never dared to pursue a professional career in the music business.
