The interplay between the instruments creates a tapestry of textures that draws me in. Each layer unfolds gracefully, evoking a sense of nostalgia and longing. The way the dynamics ebb and flow is masterful; just when you think it reaches its peak, there's a subtle drop, allowing space for that haunting melody to linger in the air.   And then, as if on cue, the percussive elements shift, introducing a tighter groove that invites movement. The contrast between the ethereal tones and the grounded pulse is deliciously satisfying; it urges the listener to engage with the music, to lose themselves in its embrace.   Right at the moment when you think the piece could settle into a familiar pattern, an unexpected shift occurs, perhaps a chord change or a new melodic phrase emerges, reigniting the energy in the room. It’s a testament to your artistry

"Fields Of Hay" was quite a challenge indeed. What originated as a simple riff turned into an epic task although most people seem to be happy with the end result.
Due to Covid lockdown restrictions I wasn't able to get any local singers. The song sat incomplete for weeks until a friend introduced me to a website called Fiverr. 
I was able to contact a Pro Session musician called Alex D who helped out with the vocal. He is based in Cyprus on the other side of the planet. We bounced ideas and MP3's off each other until the final mix and song was completed! Thank goodness for technology! Please enjoy!

And now this is the concluding track 10, "Stay with Me", in my just completed album "New Beginning" (2024): composed in Garage Band iOS in the late evening of 3 March 2024 and arranged, mixed and recorded in Logic Pro in the late evening of 4 March 2024, with final arrangement and mix in Logic Pro in the late evening of 5 March 2024, by Alex M, then posted on SoundCloud on 7 March 2024 (together with the album as a whole).

The album artwork cover, also used as the cover of each constituent track, was created in PowerPoint and annotated in Mac OS Preview on 19 July 2023 (and 5 January 2024, changing the year from 2023 to 2024 in the brackets of the album title).

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
