Yes, it's the first of two DJ sets from Glastonbury 2023 - A lovely Thursday afternoon, exactly the same time of day as the year before (you can see why I asked for the same set again...), again everyone was in a supremely cheerful mood with the whole weekend ahead of 'em, and again the weather was simmering beautifully, so we joined in with a whole raft of solid gold re-edits and remixes, some you'll know well and some you won't...

Akadz - Alive

This track was an experiment with Nero SoundTrax, back in 2006
 It uses a track from the awesome Unreal Tournament 2004 as the main music, with a sprinkle of Soulfly & a dusting of… something else I can’t remember (it was a long time ago).
 The vocal clips are from the film (Rob Zombies) House of 1000 Corpses.

 It is an atmospheric piece of audio-horror.

Hot-ish off the presses (well, I do need a bit longer to recover these days, sadly!), here's the first of two sets from this year's Glastonbury - another fine one both in weather and vibe, which in the Cornish definitely felt "bigger" this year - bigger DJ booth and a better sound system, which definitely lent itself to upscaled vibes in the choice of tunes of many a DJ i'd say... Thursday afternoon found us following on from Twin Sun's barrage of disco classics, which meant starting with something well known, but not wanting to duplicate their sound soon had me heading off into the musical hills and valleys as usual before a cheeky speedup half way through and an even cheekier ending with some right old stompers.
