These are things I did as experimental equipment tests and posted anyway. Most were put together after a few weeks of thought and a few hours of "work".  It is however a good representation of some really abnormal ideas.

. Pulled stems from their (alt-J) SC site and reassembled them as though I'd never heard the song before. Please repost if you like it because I crave attention... (I play the church bell on this, lol!)

Breezeblocks { alt-J } (Strangeglove Remix)

  This is a track I did  kind of , "off the cuff" with a digitech talk-box, which is essentially a vocoder run through my old synth. The voice is fake, so I had to play each note while providing inflection through a mic. Big fun! The song is about what might happen if an "emo" robot  had an accident.

This is the latest result on a project arranged by Kinton Smith on guitar, bass and drums, then over done by me. 

   In November, 1978 Jim Jones convinced over 900 followers to commit murder and/or suicide at their commune in Guyana. The audio excerpts are actual record of this event.

OK, after allowing this music by Erick Francis to collect dust for too long, I finally made time to experiment with a new song. This is the first draft, and I plan on reworking it to smooth out the edges, but wanted to put it out there just to gauge whether I should dump it or fix it. Please take the time to comment if you have ideas or opinions. ( I won't cry where you can see me , "sniff! "  ).

My Scuzzy Girlfriend

  This is a semi- unauthorized collab or something.... I "Doctored" Fizzy50's already great song by adding background vocals, drums and bass just 'cause I liked the song and I wanted to. He was cool enough to allow me to post  the results! So go and check out Fizzy50's original track and other songs, which are also great, and then tell me you like it better this way!
P.S. I apologize to real bass players in advance..... (yes, it's a keyboard).

OK, so this is almost half done.... I re-recorded some vocal tracks and payed more attention to the eq this time. This is a song about doing something about a bad situation. I've never lived in Chicago, but Kat (my awesome kid) and I drove through and stopped for breakfast downtown one time. It was actually quite nice. So it's really just made up, but so what... Fuck Chicago!

Made Of Stone

I'm  just a guy with his own ideas and some recording equipment. I use an ancient sequential circuits synth, a really good toy Casio keyboard, Dean guitar, E-Mu E4XT Hollywood,  and some effect pedals. I use all digital "stand alone" recording units- Tascam 2488 and MR-8.  Usually no compression problems, and I like turning knobs, OK?  Basically my goal is to express ideas with limited time or talent, but lots of imaginary weirdness.  Almost every track is some kind of experiment that could have been more refined if I was retired. I'm here just as much to listen to OPM (Other People's Music), and welcome interaction. Use my sounds any way you see fit.
